This mature 18 hole woodland course was established in the late 1960s. At 6,600 yards off the blue tees the challenging course is championship length and is the work of renowned English golf architect, Commander John D Harris.
Playable all year round, no two holes are alike. The Commander has made imaginative use of streams, lakes, and tree-lined fairways with water coming into play on 10 of the holes. This is a course to be respected; a good scorecard can be suddenly ruined if the challenges of each hole are not carefully considered.

Golfers of all levels and experience are welcome at Gatton Manor. The club prides itself on creating memorable days out for all golfers whether members, visitors, societies or corporates and this is reflected in their award winning service as well as the quality of the course. The golf course itself was constructed in the late 1960s, and was conceived by Commander John Harris, a distinguished architect who went on to create fantastic golf courses around the world, particularly in New Zealand. Though not especially long at 6,600 yards at its fullest length, the course remains a great test of golf even for low handicappers and boasts the longest hole in the South East of England (645 yards). No two holes are alike and imaginative use has been made of streams, lakes and tree-lined fairways. Afterwards you can relax in the attractive clubhouse where the club will provide everything you need for a perfect golfing experience.
