Hamilton J Stutt sympathetically used the natural contours of the Perthshire woodland to create the Murrayshall Championship course. Meandering through tree lined fairways, undulating parkland and several natural burns which have been used to protect the large greens, the golf course is wider and longer than its Lynedoch neighbour. Requiring length and accuracy from the tee, the white sand bunkers are a feature of the Murrayshall course and lie in wait for errant shots.

Hamilton J Stutt designed the Lynedoch Course at Murrayshall House, and he made great use of the stunning natural woodland. Also utilising the wild flower meadows, the flow of the course is both natural, and architecturally pleasing - a wee gem of a course. The Lynedoch is shorter than the Murrayshall course but no less a challenge. Fairways are tighter, gullies are filled with bracken, and tall Scots Pine trees narrow the golfer’s view of several fairways and greens. The courses have attracted national and international events over the years, and Murrayshall House is currently home to the Paul Lawrie Scottish Schools Championship, whilst also previously hosting PGA events along with SGU National Finals.
