The 6458 yard championship course at North Berwick is a proven tournament venue which continues to host many prestigious championships.
Set alongside the Firth of Forth, the North Sea can be viewed from every hole. It is a traditional course which tests players' all-round golfing skill. At first the West Links appears disarmingly easy, but in the true Scottish style the carefully crafted greens and fairways encourage the brave whilst punishing the wayward.
Even in the glittering array of Scotland’s seaside golf courses, North Berwick’s West Links stands out as a rare gem. It has taken a long time to evolve to its present state of excellence, but it has been time well spent.
