Ranked 99th in the World for 2014 by 'Golf Digest', and 39th in Great Britain by 'Golf World', St Enodoc offers one of the finest links golf courses in the south west of England.

A typical James Braid design, with undulating fairways, firm greens, and blind shots, the Church course has no two holes the same. Not long by today's standards but it is tight with punishing rough.

The Holywell course sits on the north side of the Clubhouse, and includes some of Braid's original design. The course now measures just over 4000 yards.

Both courses have the added bonus of arguably some of the greatest sea and estuary views on any course in the world.

Church Course

Ranked 99th in the World for 2014 by 'Golf Digest', and 39th in Great Britain by 'Golf World', St Enodoc Church course offers one of the finest links golf courses in the south west of England. A typical James Braid design, with undulating fairways, firm greens, and blind shots, the course has no two holes the same. Not long by today's standards but it is tight with punishing rough. The 6th hole really sticks in the mind - a 378-yarder that kinks left at driving distance before climbing up to the green. Laying up leaves a blind shot over the cavernous "Himalaya" bunker you simply don't want to be in. Rumour has it that it is the biggest bunker in Europe but it does have a few rivals for the title!

Holywell Course

Almost since golf was first played at St Enodoc, there have been holes on the north side of the present clubhouse, which are now played as part of the shorter nine hole Holywell course. After additional land was acquired, the original Braid designed holes were added to in 1982 to make a full 18 holes. With some further modifications and the addition of some bunkers, the current layout of 9 par 3s and 9 par 4s has a total length of 4082 yards. Many of the holes would do justice to any golf course and holes 14, 15 and 16 are its "Amen Corner". Whilst less demanding on stamina, it still provides a real test of skill for golfers of any handicap. Ideal for the young who are just starting to play, and excellent for older golfers who want an occasional round.
