Imagine rolling hills, sandy dunes, a stiff breeze blowing off the Ayrshire coast. Before designer courses, before manicured greens and major championships, these lands inspired local Scots to play the game of golf. Beloved since its first formal course was built in 1901, Turnberrys fairways have been shared by the games elite and casual enthusiasts from around the globe. Even the conversion of its links to runways during two world wars could not diminish the desire to play here, a place made for golf, where countless competitions have been waged that shall never be forgotten.

Not AvailableRANKING #1 Amazing views, fantastic hole layout and design using the natural rugged terrain - can not wait to play again; An absolutely gorgeous place to play a round of golf. A real thinking mans course with views to die for; From the 4th to the 11th, Turnberry is the greatest course in the world.
Trump Turnberry has unveiled a new golfing experience on the Ayrshire coast, the magnificent King Robert the Bruce course. Martin Ebert was commissioned once more to create what will be a world class golf experience to thrill golfers of all abilities. Breathtaking vistas from the 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th of King Robert the Bruce delight golfers, with spectacular views of Turnberry’s stunning coastline, castle ruins and the lighthouse. The overall design concept for the course has been to introduce fairway bunkers with sand faces and marram grass “eyebrow” faces tempting “risk or reward” shots whilst greenside bunkers are shaped and neatly revetted to require perfect recovery shots. The course reinforces Trump Turnberry’s reputation as a true golfer’s paradise.
