Aberdovey is without doubt a living testament to the unique characteristics of links golf.
Three legendary architects; Colt, Braid & Fowler have all had a hand in shaping Aberdovey as it stands today. However, it is the untamed elements of the natural rolling links that has had the greatest role in creating the course.
The exhilarating start introduces tight lies, rolling fairways, undulating approaches, and fast greens.
Holes that tempt the golfer most are often those that are better played with a sense of restraint. The hazards are numerous, deceptive and sometimes hidden.
Quirky features abound throughout the course, including blind-shots, wooden railway sleepers, and the railway itself that skirts the inland portion of the course.
Corporate and Society Golf Days are available to be booked directly from - per person.

RANKING #68 “Some of the more elevated tees provide views out across the estuary, while great views of the Snowdonia and the Cambrian Mountain range provide a backdrop to the course.” “The course has a rugged feel, and looks great to the naked eye as the dunes fall through the links framing each hole.” “The course is deeply historic and traditional, in the best sense, and also well prepared and presented.”
