Orsett Golf Club
Orsett G.C was founded in 1899; this magnificent championship course designed by the legendry James Braid was firmly imbedded into this piece of the Essex countryside. In the early years Orsett became a focal point for the local community to gather and enjoy their golf; even through the hard times of the two world wars. Situated within 5 miles of the M25, this fine par 72 championship course has a demanding layout of over 6,600 yards. In recent years Orsett has established itself as host to the regional qualifying round for The Open Championship no less than on 11 occasions.
Frinton Golf Club
Frinton is a seaside course that provides a fine test of golf. At 6,265 yards, Frinton is not excessively long by modern standards and, at first glance, the open fairways with their lack of trees may seem unchallenging, but this is certainly not the whole story. The fast, firm, undulating greens test the best putters. Tidal ditches cross many fairways requiring accurately placed shots. The trademark of the links course, the ever-changing sea breeze, demands careful club selection on every hole. Our greens are probably the best all year round greens in the region. Frinton Golf Club was founded in 1895 and can look back on a distinguished past as well as looking forward to an exciting future.
Saffron Walden Golf Club
Saffron Walden Golf Club is home to one of the finest parkland golf courses in the whole of East Anglia. Set in the picturesque surroundings of Audley End's famous mansion, the Club also boasts superb views over the historic market town of Saffron Walden. In addition to our outstanding golf course, we have a 140-person capacity Clubhouse and Bar & Catering facility serving freshly cooked homemade food daily and numerous beers and wines. We also have a private Function/Conference room seating up to 24 people seminar style overlooking the 18th green.
Forrester Park

Stoke by Nayland Hotel Golf and Spa
Two Championship Golf Courses in Essex Stoke by Nayland have two championship golf courses. The Gainsborough and the Constable, both created in the early 1970s and named after two local famous artists, Thomas Gainsborough and John Constable. The courses are well-established and include lakes, streams and woodland. They have played host to the PGA Europro Tour, European Senior Tour PGA Seniors Championships, European Challenge Tour (The English Challenge) and the Ladies European Tour Access Series.

The layout and undulations of the course are totally unique to the area with rolling fairways and sleepered bunkers giving the feel of a traditional seaside links. Blakes Golf Club are in the process of submitting an application for planning permission to develop an additional golf course next to the existing course in North Weald. The proposed 18-hole championship golf course will be primarily available on a pay-to-play basis - with peak weekend tee times available to visitors. The application includes plans for a new junior teaching Academy and junior teaching and practice facilities.
Toot Hill Golf Club

This renowned undulating parkland course is undoubtedly one of the finest in Essex. Measuring 6254 yards, this 18 Hole Par 70 course has been created utilising the very best attributes of the natural landscape Rolling hills, carefully placed bunkers and water hazards, including a spectacular island green par 3 12th hole all add to the challenges that inspire golfers of all standards on each and every hole.
The Warren Golf & Country Club
The course provides a beautiful but challenging test as it winds its way through historic parkland with an abundance of mature trees and natural streams. Situated less than an hour away from London and 15 minutes from the county town of Chelmsford it is easily accessible, yet once through the entrance you will feel wonderfully sheltered from the intrusions and distraction of modern life. The Warren Golf Club has one of the most charming period clubhouses in the county. The building is made from a genuine timbered Essex Barn dating back to 1744, and was converted to a clubhouse in 1934.

Maylands Golf Club
Just 14 miles from central London, Maylands Golf Club, Essex, is a stunning championship course designed by Harry Colt, one of the greatest golf course architects of the 20th century.
